The problem to solve
WPShout is a technical tutorial resource for WordPress developers. Originally founded in 2009, WPShout has been owned and operated since 2013 by the Press Up team. When we picked up the property, it badly needed a complete overhaul to both look and functionality to better serve our readers.
How we helped
- Developed and deployed from-scratch custom WordPress theme to match desired design
- Reorganized single content stream into several distinct WordPress post types based on user need
- Organized content with intelligent taxonomy systems, and applied taxonomies to archive of hundreds of posts
- Transitioned site to HTTPS from HTTP for security

The WPShout site is now a beautiful and easy-to-use resource on WordPress development—one of the most consistently popular on the internet.
The site functions flawlessly on all modern browsers and devices, and content is well-organized and easy to access.
